Family Time

Chad's parents came down in September. We didn't do a lot, but we took them to the lake for a bit, went to Helen, Ga and showed them Anna Ruby falls and to Stone Mountain. Here are some pics from the trip down here.
Here are some pics from Stone Mountain. We did the Ride the DUCKS. That was so much fun. We got to see things you normally wouldn't see.

Here are some pics from when we went to Helen, GA. We all love it there.

These are some random pics from the lake and Hailey's Cross Country meet that her grandparents got to attend while they were here.

Family Time

The first week of August Chad had his son, Dillon, come down and visit us for a week. Here are some pics of his first trip to Georgia.

This is called the Georgia Guide Stone. It is at the highest point between Hartwell and Elberton, GA. Kinda neat to see. It has 10 guidelines engraved in 8 of the worlds most popular languages: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and Russian. At the very top it has 4 Ancient languages engraved: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian Hieroglyphs.
Dillon and Sadie at the University of Georgia. The Track and Field is behind them. This is a memorial garden for on of the football coaches, Vincent J Dooley head coach 1964-1988.
Hailey Loves her Brother and Sister so much.

The kids and us floating down the Chattanooga River in Helen, GA
The kids even got their picture taken with Smoky the Bear. He was up at Anna Ruby Falls for his 60th birthday. They even had cake and drinks for the visitors.

Six Flags over Georgia

We took Sadie, Chad's youngest daughter, to Six Flags over Georgia for the first time Sunday! We love Six Flags, and all the coasters they have.  Here are a few pictures that I took of her while we were there.
Sadie and Chad on the Dahlonega Mine Train. It's just a little roller coaster made just for her.

This isn't us but it's called the Georgia Scorcher. It's a stand up roller coaster. We got Sadie on this ride once. This is one of our favorite rides there.
This is their new coaster Dare Devil Dive. Chad and I wanted to go on this one but the line was soo long. I'm hoping to ride it soon.
Chad and Sadie just after the coaster the Mind Bender. We also got her on the coaster Bat Man. She was such a trooper that day.
Sadie on the Gothem Crime Wave. She liked this one too. We went on a bunch of rides, but for the most part I left my camera in the locker so I wouldn't loose it. It was such a great day! Can't wait to go back!!!

Summer Time

We are so lucky to live so close to Lake Hartwell. Here are some pictures from a day at the lake.
We are actually heading under I-85
Georgia side of the lake
South Carolina side of the lake
Just part of the lake. LOTS of trees every where you look!! So pretty!
Sun Set off the lake. We almost go lost on our way back to the dock were we launched from. All in all we had a really nice time!
